Today we saw a traveling exhibit from Pompeii at our art museum. It was fantastic and very moving--they even had several of the plaster casts of the victims. Now E and T are playing with the Playmobil Roman soldiers and siege tower Grandma and Grandpa bought them at the gift shop. Roman soldier: "This armor is too hot! We don't have air conditioning, you know!" Emperor Augustus: "You're going to war, and that's final!"
